His record run in office officially ended with parliament approving a new administration led by Naftali Bennett. This means there is a new prime minister for the first time since 2009 after a power-sharing government survived a confidence vote on Sunday. Bennett was then sworn in as prime minister.
It’s been a hell of a ride to a Bibi-free government. Now, the motley crew taking his place face the daunting task of patching up a country divided by his zealous, 12-year rule. Bitter Bibi finally got the boot. Piss off enough people, and you'll eventually lose power.
Bottom line is that Bibi Netanyahu has just shown the world that he’s as graceless and selfish as #TwiceImpeached #LameDuckDonald. Meanwhile, Benjamin @Netanyahu failed in his bid to advance Likud primaries and ensure that he would be able to stay as party leader, and the other MKs prepare to fight over the few Knesset positions available.
