Niccolò On The Donald Shit Show

Niccolò di Bernardo del Machiavelli was an Italian Renaissance diplomat, a well-known philosopher, and successful writer, who was best known for The Prince, written in 1513. He has often been called the father of modern political philosophy and political science.

From a young age he was placed in charge of the republic of Florence's foreign affairs in subject territories, Machiavelli held a series of governmental posts. Among his tasks were to establish a militia, undertake diplomatic and military missions, oversee fortifications, and write an official history of the republic.

Applying the phrase when in Rome, do as the Romans, and considering that LameDuckDonald once revered to other nations as shit-hole countries, the headline appears to be fitting in its usage. His last full day in office carries the weight of his lowest job approval of his entire 4-year term. He will now retreat to A place where he is not wanted as the US Senate prepares an impeachment trial, and Joe Biden, who won in a landslide with millions of more votes will be inaugurated. Welcome to a new era from America, where all men and women are equal under the law.

City Images reached out to his, not as great-great-great-grandson Ricardo and asked him to comment on what his extremely well-known ancestor might say about Trump and his last four years as president and his response was very direct as he went right to the point telling us, he is a piece of shit and a failure. Interestingly enough, an offspring for the man who is known for writing The Prince considers The Donald's legacy will wind up as a liar and will eventually become a pauper. He is the worst president in American history and will be held accountable for his failed legacy and the multiple crises he created and made worse. He called the free press scum and the enemy of the people. He is now the enema of We The People.

His response was amazing because Niccolo Machiavelli proposed that immoral behavior, such as the use of deceit and the murder of innocents, was normal and effective in politics. He also notably encouraged politicians to engage in evil when it would be necessary for political expediency.

Machiavelli's name came to evoke unscrupulous acts. He considered political battles, not through a lens of morality, but as though they are a board game with established rules. His experience showed him that politics have always been played with deception, treachery, and crime. He also said that a ruler who is establishing a republic, and is criticized for his deeds, including violence, should be excused when the intention and the results are going to be beneficial to all.
