A three judge panel from the Court of Arbitration for Sport will be hearing doping case against #Russian figure skater Kamila Valieva. One of the judges was once picked by Maria Sharapova’s legal team for her appeal over a similar performance-enhancing drug. She is another Russian athlete and the former world No. 1 tennis player. Although she played under the banner of Russia with the Women's Tennis Association, she has lived in and been a United States permanent resident since 1994. #Beijing2022 

Meanwhile Russian ice dancer Diana Davis mostly remained silent as partner Gleb Smolkin snapped at reporters Saturday for asking about Davis' mother, embattled figure skating coach Eteri Tutberidze, and her involvement in 15-year-old Kamila Valieva's doping case.
