Happy International Women’s Day. Every day we say they are essential and we support women in our homes, workplaces, and society.
Please, allow me to introduce my grand-baby, Olivia who our family calls LIV and I am GB, that's short for Grandpa Bob. She surely does like to challenge her mother Sabrina.
International Women's Day is a global celebration of the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women. The day also marks a call to action for accelerating women's equality.
As a result of the global pandemic, celebrations for the 2021 International Women's Day are virtual. Atlanta, organizers at the Urban Wine Collective will host a virtual happy hour. In Dallas, Arboretum has scheduled a day of activities to highlight the contributions of women in STEM.

Organizers are asking supporters to "strike the Choose To Challenge pose and share on social media using #ChooseToChallenge #IWD2021."
The pose is simply raising your hand high to "show your commitment to choose to challenge inequality, call out bias, question stereotypes, and help forge an inclusive world," the website says.
Finally, How many ladies have been a major influence in my life? It’s a question I have been considering for some time, but it’s nearly impossible to answer. My life has been shaped by the many women who are near and dear to me, so I will leave out others who have crossed my path. I wish to pay tribute to the wonderful women in my family, past, and present. Maria Teresa, Caridad, Margarita, Maria Elena, Natasha, Sabrina, Elena, Sophia, Chloe, Olivia, and last but not least, Yirong. Thanks, gracias, xiexie. ❤️ To each one of you from the bottom of my heart.
