Scam artists come in all shapes and sizes, whether they're building finance or political Ponzi schemes. It usually takes years for them to perfect their recipe of deceiving the public at large because they are skilled at manipulating victims. but sooner or later, their gig is up.
We have too frequently seen people in high places engaging in drama and exaggeration, jumping into arguments without having all the facts, or just simply ignoring them. Leadership erosion has become a serious issue over the last six decades, from 1958 to the present day. Americans have lost their faith in our so-called leaders. According to data from Pew Research, The Public trust in the government has dropped to historic lows. Only 18% of Americans today say they can trust the government in Washington to do what is right “just about always” 3 percent or “most of the time” 15 percent. No wonder people don't bother to vote and exercise their democratic right.
As the Russia investigation digs deeper, and a former attorney-fixer keeps spilling the beans, Americans may be moving closer to the real truth. One thing is clear #MadDon is the political #MadOff.
Bernie Madoff made financial history with Ponzi schemes. This fraudulent enterprise of paying off investors with money collected from suckers are the most peculiar of crimes. Before the scam is detected, the trick is to be pleasing to perpetrators and victims alike. The fraud appears to be a bountiful gift that the confidence trickster, a generous soul and a financial wizard to boot, has bestowed upon a grateful world. Investors frequently revere the schemer, endowing him with magical properties. The schemer, in turn, may come to believe that his scheme isn’t altogether shady and that he will someday generate the sensational returns he has promised. Whenever the impostor is exposed, his victims experience profound hurt and disillusionment, having trusted implicitly in the schemer against a chorus of naysayers.
He does not like anyone to call him Donald but makes up mocking names for people who challenge any of his statements or have baked decisions. Donald is convinced that he's a wizard of political alchemy because he eluded many other political candidates.
However, incapable of moral clarity, he could never admit to himself that he was a charlatan and that his scheme was an impossible fiasco. He fooled others because he fooled himself. Right up until the end, he found refuge in fantasies that after placing his name on other people's buildings, he would do the same in the House of Representatives to enable him to pay off his worshiper base. But as far as we can tell, he's never suffered any remorse.
Who causes a self made crisis, slightly compromises, then claims he accomplished more than he did and insist he deserves credit for having defused the chaos he created?
Wake up, America... look all around and read as much as you possibly can to see the real truth that his concern for the middle class is just an inconvenient campaign slogan, just like Mexico which now has a new president named Andrés Manuel López Obrador may very well decide to rip up a new NAFTA agreement, which was negotiated by his predecessor, or AMLO will be forced to pay for the wall... etc. I guess We The People will have to “wait and see”
