The late superstar Roberto Enrique Clemente Walker would be proud of his global ambassador son. The Puerto Rican professional baseball right fielder played 18 MLB seasons for the Pittsburgh Pirates. Clemente was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1973, becoming both the first Latin American and Caribbean player to be elevated.
Clemente was always running missions to help the less fortunate while sacrificing his health to help people in need. My Tocayo, Roberto made a big difference in sports and also in life. His humanitarian work led to his death during a plane crash on December 31, 1972, en route to bringing much-needed supplies to survivors of an earthquake in Nicaragua.
Following in his father’s footsteps, Roberto Jr pursued a career in baseball and played America’s pastime but he suffered concussions and his physical injuries prematurely ended his dreams of following his father’s baseball career. However, Roberto follows a passion for health and performance measurement.
Like father, like son, Clemente, who lives in Pittsburgh, where his father once played ball tells City Images that he has not slept in days, but proudly secured a major milestone helping those in need as he tirelessly continues working to help folks In need. https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/roberto-clemente-jr-getting-millions-…
