The Republicans continue jumping ship from the leaking and sinking Trump freighter as they keep coming out of the crowded closet.
As the Democrats begin their political convention, former Ohio Governor John Kasich, who is a Republican and is scheduled to speak during the week, says a prominent party member will soon endorse the #Biden/Harris ticket. The last time, Kasich says he could not bring himself to vote for a #Democrat, so he reportedly wrote in John McCain’s name. This time he’s all in for Joe Biden and speaking at tonight’s convention. He says “Somebody has to start being willing to break down this tribalism,”
After he made this revelation, he singlehandedly set the internet ablaze with speculation. The unrelenting Donald Trump critic is offering his services to The Democrats, who will use them this week to make the case for Joe Biden.
Some folks were pointing to far-right Congressman Justin Amash, who voted to impeach Donald Trump. But Amash quit the Republican Party last year, so he’s not technically a Republican member of Congress and the has denied it.
Others are suggesting it could be Will Hurt, Adam Kinzinger, Francis Rooney, who have all been Trump critics; but it’s debatable as to whether any of them are prominent Republicans.
Most are asking if it’s GOP Senator Mitt Romney, who voted to convict Trump, and is certainly prominent since he once ran for President as a Republican.
