The USA is about to finish celebrating yet another Hispanic Heritage Month. #POTUS hard-line immigration policies have been awful. Exploiting a family separation policy along the U.S.-Mexico border, which has since been halted but continues in isolated cases, ICE faces criticisms over conditions for migrants at the border and most recently slashed the number of refugees allowed to resettle in America.
Neither Donald Trump, Joe Biden, nor their running mates Mike Pence and Kamala Harris, have ever mentioned these important issues.
MEAN while Trump systematically took over 5,555 kids from their parents at the border knowing it would traumatize them for life, and there hasn't been a single question or about our nation's immigration policy. What's up with that?
Los Estados Unidos está a punto de terminar de celebrar otro Mes de la Herencia Hispana. Las políticas de inmigración de línea dura de #POTUS han sido horribles. We must turn around the under-representation of Latinos and the lack of diversity in all walks of life. These are issues that are important to Hispanics and we should unite and portray a much more united front sympathetically. Latinos will become nearly one-quarter of the US population by 2035. We are one.
