The Age of Effervescence

The recent heatwave was a great reason to take a dip in our friends, Elena and Bill's pool, and to recall how the media may have introduced us to drinks with the emissions of small bubbles of gas. These carbonated or fermenting liquid bubbling up was made in vogue with The Three Stooges and Buster Keaton's Alka Seltzer commercials, the effervescent antacid and pain reliever. https://youtu.be/XPaBGEv5qus Mr. Keaton was quite the showman and extremely creative. https://youtu.be/d1ilfp2AxK8

Since those days, all kinds of bubbly drinks have become amazingly popular, I have sampled many and although it is not a leading brand, one of my favorites is called Bubly because they offer a mango flavored drink, which I enjoy on sweltering Summer days.

However, while swimming inside a neighbor's pool, a strange thing happened when I left this cold can inside my parked car. It exploded and there was mango flavored water odor inside my auto.

Without a doubt. my coolest preference is always Yirong who is never wrong and usually right. Let’s say Kampe and drink to that.
