Teaching vs Educating

Submitted by ub on

As a multilingual media maestro, a college instructor, and experienced university educator I don't look at a student’s race.

I’ve realized there are good students and not many others.  The good ones make me proud, and the others NOT SO MUCH!

Education media marauders and mavens have been the joy of my academic career. Here's the group I brought to Strawberry Fields to interview media personalities on the anniversary.

As a Latino educator and multilingual communicator, my aim is to foster a

a culture where all backgrounds feel confident included and that their

individual talents are nurtured, by empowering them to contribute fully to a

shared vision and goal.

It has always been my practice to ensure equal opportunity without discrimination or harassment on the basis of race, color, creed, religion, national origin, alienage or citizenship status, age, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, marital, domestic, civil partnership status, disability, veteran status, genetic information, or anyone else. Everything improves and everyone wins with DIVERSITY.

I am a Hispanic with advanced communication degrees who not only supports, but also lives diversity in every way, shape, and form.

As a D-player, I work hard, over and above, I'm well-liked, respected, and appreciated. https://www.ratemyprofessors.com/search.jsp?queryoption=HE ADER&queryBy=teacherName&schoolName=&schoolID=&query=roberto+soto

Educating students at both private and public academic institutions, including - FDU, Touro, ASU, and others too.

Fairleigh Dickinson University's Puerta Al Futuro, where I lectured in Spanish. https://view2.fdu.edu/academics/petrocelli-college/academic-units/puerta- al-futuro/

Rabbinical School Lander College for Men http://lcm.touro.edu/ Georgia's HBCU Albany State University https://www.asurams.edu

I am currently teaching at the New York Public Library, but besides my academic experience, I have launched several media startups and turned around projects.

Some of my diversity accomplishments are transforming SIN to Univision, HBC to Telemundo, and launching News 12 The Bronx into bilingual news and information station.
