Submitted by Admin on

He's back, Barack Hussein Obama II. The former President chose the University of Chicago in his first public appearance since leaving The White House. As expected, he handled himself like a pro.

President Obama said warned that political gerrymandering is preventing the country from tackling problems like economic inequality, a broken criminal justice system and climate change.

The Rift Widens

Where is that amazing leadership voters were promised? When are we going to get tired of winning? Why is he a self-proclaimed great negotiator? Leading the free world should be about bringing our allies closer together while attempting to negotiate with others, but that is not what is happening here. https://www.washingtonpost.com/business/economy/new-rifts-emerge-as-tru…

Economic Forecast

If the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World were not limited to the Mediterranean region, the Great Wall of China would likely make the list. The one that made later lists was mostly built in and after the 14th century but prior walls were built as far back as 200BC. Defending against Mongol raids was the most obvious purpose but trade and immigration control were also reasons why the Han Dynasty built the early earthen barriers so that workers and goods were accounted for and taxed.

BOSS DAY

Submitted by ub on

Boss’s Day is observed on October 16, or the nearest working day, which is today. I can safely say speaking from experience that if you have a boss, you're better off with a woman as your superior.

The day goes a long way to improving the relationship between employees and supervisors. Also, there's nothing more miserable than celebrating someone that you don’t like. And then there is the pressure if a collection being taken to get the boss a gift. If you don’t contribute, you're not a team player.

The Armageddon countdown clocks were back, ticking away the second quarter in the bottom of
our TV screens as the world awaited the June 23rd Brexit vote determining if Great Britain would
leave the European Union. The referendum was considered a joke until recent polls showed it
having a chance to pass which kicked the ruling class into gear saying the Euroskeptics should not
be taken seriously. President Obama went to London to warn against Brexit saying “The UK is
going to be in the back of the queue” when the US negotiates trade deals. His comments were

Li Fi > Wi Fi

Submitted by Admin on

Li-Fi is the faster, more secure cousin of Wi-Fi Wireless. The Internet is about to reach lightspeed, literally. it's 100 times faster than Wi-Fi.

You'll be hearing more about Li-Fi wireless technology that transmits high-speed data using visible light communication VLC. With scientists achieving speeds of 224 gigabits per second in the lab using Li-Fi earlier this year, the potential for this technology to change everything about the way we use the Internet is huge.
