The Voice of America reports It is beginning to look a lot like crowded everywhere we go on Earth as humans topped 8 billion people.

And with longer lifespans offsetting fewer births, world population growth continues a long-term trend of slowing down.

The scientific estimates are that our global population exceeded the threshold near the end of September. The United Nations estimated the number was passed 10 months earlier, having declared Nov. 22, 2022, the "Day of 8 Billion," the Census Bureau pointed out in a statement.

NYC, NY SO NICE

As a longtime New Yorker, a former AP Bureau Chief, and a practicing Christian who attended Catholic schools I object, dear Lord.

William Donohue is also known as Billiy The Bully and claims the nearly $500,000 raise he received was part of an exit package approved by the board. However, he is still on the job and continues trying to bully the free press and specifically AP, my alma mater.  https://www.eurasiareview.com/20042023-nyc-is-indeed-crime-ridden-oped/

I was curious about the following phrase throughout my early years as a young journalist, first in Miami, then in NY, DC, and LA.

When the going gets tough, the tough get going” idiom emphasizes that when conditions become difficult, strong people take action. Strong-willed, adamant, aggressive go-getting, grittily, gutsy, pertinacious, pigheadedly, and purposefully.

Watch these video models. The miracles began 100 million years ago in the midst of the breakup of the supercontinent Pangaea.

At the beginning of the animation, the continents that will become Africa and South America are already recognizable, with the Northern Hemisphere continents coming together tens of millions of years later. Blue shows the flow of water, while red shows the intensity of the deposition of new sediments by erosion.

It may seem like success for most Americans earning a six-figure salary, but it feels more like five figures at the end of the year.

Do you know how far your money goes? Well, it depends on where you live. In a central metropolitan area, that annual six-figure paycheck is reportedly worth just $36,000, after taxes and accounting for the steep cost of living.

According to an analysis of 76 of the largest US cities, that is, to see where $100,000 goes furthest
