Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has emphasized his vitality and relative youth compared to the leading Democratic and Republican candidates.

Kennedy has pitched himself as a younger, healthier alternative to Biden and Trump, but the New York Times obtained a 2012 deposition where Kennedy admitted that “a worm got into my brain and ate a portion of it and then died.”

Kennedy testified at the time that “I have short-term memory loss, and I have longer-term memory loss that affects me.”

GOP FAILURES

The Republican 118th United States Congress, which began on January 3, 2023, and will end on January 3, 2025 is really failing.

It has enacted 51 public laws and zero private laws. In contrast with previous Congresses, which generally enacted their first laws no later than January or February, the 118th Congress's first law was enacted on March 20.

Republicans are at each others throats as US Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene tried and failed miserably to remove GOP House Speaker Mike Johnson.

SENDING THE CLOWNS

Since the US House Republican-led show isn't going well, they sent in the clowns, in other words, let's try these jokes.

The show's best-known and Sondheim's biggest hit song was almost an afterthought, written several days before the start of tryouts.

it means to act stupidly to make other people laugh: to clown around when all hope is gone. Some folks always want to know, when listening to a song, what the end is going to be, so "Send in the Clowns" didn't settle in until the end is near, "Don't bother, they're here",

Here is a compelling argument on the influence of political decisions in our daily lives, even for those who claim not to be interested.

The person I have known the longest in my lifetime is my brother who claims he does not follow politics. Most of the others are cousins who are drunk on Kool-Aide, or are hypocrites who adapt to the changing political winds. Political choices can indeed impact various aspects of our freedoms and rights, including who we can love, how we express our gender identity, where we can travel, what we can read, and even how we worship.

STOP AUTHORITARIANS

Why are Republicans embracing authoritarian Russia and China rather than supporting our longtime democratic allues?

Former Republican Presidents Ronald Reagan and George HW Bush are just rolling over in their graves; they may also lurch from it in a fit of incredulous rage. This is a remarkable and potentially catastrophic reversal by a political party that is in a state of near-total, frequently random ideological decomposition.
