Americans have all read, seen, or heard about the South Florida condo that collapsed and killed dozens of its residents.

The death toll in the Florida condo building collapse went up to 95. According to the AP, the Miami-area condominium building collapse had rescue crews working for the 20th day to find victims in the rubble.

The Associated Press article explicitly states "condominiums". Doesn't this cover other residential buildings of similar construction with regard to structural and safety inspections?

The incredible shrinking narration they keep spinning is a brutal reminder of the unreliable message from public safety officials.

Aldous Leonard Huxley was a philosopher, who wrote dozens of non-fiction works along with wide-ranging narratives.

Humans may come up with any number of ambitious, ingenious plans or ideas, but, ultimately, forces outside of our control determine whether we fail or succeed.

EXAMPLE: The sinking of the Titanic, the supposedly unsinkable ship, shows better than perhaps anything else that while man proposes, God disposes.

Republicans have been on the rhetorical offensive against women for too long. Will Mothers Day be a time to stand up for their rights?

According to the most recent data available, there are more women in the USA than men, so why is it that they lack equal representation in government, private industry, and academia, and their earnings are still not the same as those of men. Will the scales of equal justice for all under the law ever be balanced?

Say No To Rubio

A former Speaker of the Florida House, Republican Marco Rubio boasted a son-of-immigrants story that rivaled GOP Senator Ted Cruz.

US Senator Rubio, FL, like Cruz, TX commanded a great deal of respect from conservative activists. But that was then and this is now. The Hispanic population of these two states alone is: Texas at 9.794.0003 Florida at 4.354.000

Rubio is up for re-election and appears to be getting desperate with his campaign emails.

There is an old proverb that says the bigger they are, the harder they fall. What does this really and truly mean to all of us?

Those who are exceptionally large, powerful, or influential will have more to lose when they fail, and their failure will be all the more dramatic or spectacular because of it.

The historic collapse in Meta's shares this week has wiped $31 billion off Mark Zuckerberg's personal wealth, taking him down three places on Bloomberg's list of the world's richest people. He is about to lose his top ranking as the world’s richest.

Finally, it is beginning to happen after all this time. The USA political party preferences shifted greatly during the previous year 2021.

When I because an American citizen, I was asked by an immigration official which party I wanted to register, Republican, or Democrat. I asked if there were other options. The response was a warning. Yes, but you will not be able to vote during primaries.

I then registered NPA - No Political Affiliation. U.S. Political Party Preferences Shifted Greatly During 2021

Scrooge aka Murdoch

How well does FOX Rupert Murdoch compare to Ebenezer Scrooge, the protagonist of Charles Dickens' 1843 A Christmas Carol?

At the beginning of the novella, Scrooge is cold-hearted miserable. The tale of his redemption by three spirits has become a defining tale of the Christmas holiday in the English-speaking world. Scrooge is a mean and miserly person.
