The NYPD have always been New York’s finest. The police should be doing all they can to get us past a tragedy, maintain order amongst protestors and help the city get past the COVID19 pandemic.

As calls for defunding and reforming police departments have grown, NYC has seen a 24 percent increase in yearly homicides.

There appears to be a belief among cops, and those who defend their conduct, that police culture is built on a code that rewards the exercise of dominance over suspects during arrests.

Detention Without Representation

Who is really well represented in immigration court? The odds of obtaining representation for newly arrived immigrants appearing in federal court has varied over the years. However, their rights appear to be slipping in recent years.

Also, immigrants in detention centers are often hundreds of miles away from legal assistance. Only a tiny percentage of detained immigrants have lawyers, leaving them to stay in the #USA and fend for themselves.

Paul John Manafort Jr. is an American lobbyist, political consultant, and convicted felon. The Republican joined Donald Trump's presidential campaign team in March 2016 and was promoted to campaign chairman from June to August 2016.

Paul Manafort’s slap on the wrist is a good example of American injustice in action While in school I may have spent more time in detention and inside the principals' office than he will now serve in his prison sentence.
