It should be noted that US Judge Esther Salas was born in Monterey Park, California. Her dad is Cuban and her mother Mexican. She moved to New Jersey with her mother when she was 5 years of age. She is now 51.

The attack Attack on her family ended in the apparent suicide of gunmen. According to public safety officials, Roy Den Hollander, an “anti-feminist” lawyer, killed U.S. District Judge Esther Salas’s son and wounded her husband on Sunday during an attack on the family’s home.

Hollander’s body was found on Monday in upstate New York. ‘Anti-Feminist’ Lawyer Is Suspect in Killing of Son of Federal Judge in N.J.

Hollander left behind misogynist writings.

And a “pro-Trump” paper trail. In a trove of documents published online, Roy Den Hollander directed misogynistic and racist insults at U.S. District Court Judge Esther Salas and expressed support for the president.

Judge Salas is the first Hispanic woman appointed to the NJ federal trial bench. She has overseen gang cases and currently is presiding over civil litigation brought by Deutsche Bank investors who claim the company made false statements about anti-money-laundering policies.
