Confucius was the first teacher in China who wanted to make education broadly available and was instrumental in establishing the art of teaching as a vocation. He also established ethical, moral, and social standards that formed the basis of a way of life known as Confucianism, which is not a religion, as much as it is a global philosophy.
Confucius wasn’t an old geezer. He changed the world with his new philosophy that was based on a secular morality, Confucianism. What does that mean? Well, Confucius was pretty focused on culture and self-cultivation of the people based on morals. In other words, want people to be more connected and working on themselves.
“A seed grows with no sound, but a tree falls with a huge noise. Destruction has noise, but creation is quiet. This is the power of silence. Grow Silently” -Confucius (551–479 BC).
Just like a tree, nobody will ever notice it when it’s small but it will once it has grown. The same thing applies to all of us. Not many pay attention while we grow, but will take time to notice once we have fully grown. This garden is dedicated to all parents and my mother, who was a teacher and father, an architect, and an attorney. They sacrificed much and allowed us to grow.
We will leave you with these parting and growing thoughts: Learn, Explore, Train. Keep our mind focused, success follows.
