Dangerous conditions from Laura are spreading farther inland across Louisiana this morning. Catastrophic storm surge, as 

hurricane-force winds and flash flooding will continue. 

Hurricane Laura is: -stronger than Katrina, in the path of 60 petrochemical plants and 49 hazardous sites, happening during a pandemic, millions struggling, happening as a climate denier vies for re-election. This is our planet 🌏 EARTH on fossil fuels.

On the forecast track, Laura will continue north across Louisiana this afternoon. The center of Laura is forecast to move over

Arkansas tonight, the mid-Mississippi Valley on Friday, and the mid-Atlantic states Saturday.

Category 4 Hurricane Laura becomes an extremely dangerous hurricane.

Disaster Relief Fund just as hurricane Laura started bearing down on you. Please be careful and safe.

Strong winds reportedly delay rescue efforts and damage assessment. Nearly 470,000 homes and businesses are currently without power in Louisiana and Texas. Laura's Landfall came near Cameron, Louisiana, about 30 miles from the Texas border.
