The following are the top ten things that CityImages urges everyone to embrace in our daily lifestyle and to accomplish ASAP.
Kindness is one of those things that, when we actively seek to share it, ripples outward, creating a positive impact far beyond what we might ever see. I love the idea of not just reacting to opportunities for kindness, but creating them by taking the initiative to brighten someone's day or make their load a little lighter.
What I think makes kindness so powerful is that it’s often contagious. When one person shows kindness, it inspires others to do the same, and before you know it, there’s this chain reaction of goodness spreading through the community. By celebrating positive stories while encouraging others to create their own moments of kindness, we help people tremendously.
What are some ways you like to spread kindness or any small acts you’ve witnessed that left a lasting impression on you?
We cannot stand people who are fake, and we aren’t going to pretend to be cheery and upbeat all of the time. We can accept grumpiness in a bad mood because being authentic is better than BS.
Not trying to project that life is perfect. We value people who keep it real and they pride themselves on doing the same. If that means they come across as grumpy at times, so be it. And so it goes.
You have the power to lay to rest the negative emotions that outdated strategies might be spreading to you your friends, families and your coworkers. It’s not worth sacrificing your mental and physical health and it’s important to make your self-care a top priority.
