Timeliness Next to Godliness

Do folks say you're easily distracted, disorganized? If so, you are consistently tardy. There are many reasons why people are late. Some are like the absent-minded professor: They are misplacing glasses and car keys getting lost or completely forgetting there is an appointment.

One after one, students walk into the classroom. It’s 9:27A on a Monday. The door closes at 9:30A sharp.  One minute later a student walks up to the door and knocks, “Should I let her in?” he asks. “You guys can let her in if you want.” Everyone thinks he’s kidding, but nobody really knows.

What did you wake up thinking about this morning? Your busy day? Plans for this weekend? Your mother’s birthday gift? Whatever it was, it almost assuredly wasn’t #COVID the global pandemic 😷 Corona virus, the promised immunizations, or second-hand smoke. And however important we think these subjects are, no one outside of public health makes them a priority.

This is the reason why FCC rules required that media organizations provide the public information available to the public.

Learning About Commuting

I don't know about you, but for me, my daily commute was a #PIA. It took me 3 hours each way door to door, so needless to say I do not miss it especially when it is beginning to get cold outdoors.

In my particular case, I was taking a train from Pelham, NY to 125 Street in Harlem NYC, and transferring on the Hudson line to Poughkeepsie. Once my train arrived at the station, then I waited for a bus that would take me to Marist College, my final destination. The monthly commuter pass was $500.00

The following should be required reading. ‘IF’ was written by an Indian born, English Nobel Laureate poet and journalist named Joseph Rudyard Kipling. It can serve as the ultimate inspiration that tells all of us how to deal with different phases in life and helps us to become better people.

The poem, written in 1895 and first published in ‘Rewards and Fairies’, 1910 is 32 lines long with four stanzas of eight lines each. It is a tribute to Leander Starr Jameson. The poem is written in the form of paternal advice to the poet’s son, John.

Barron Trump’s school will be closed because it's not safe, but POTUS is fine risking other people's children as long as he is insulated and receives daily testing.

Some educators who cannot fully return to school this Fall are disappointed, but the health and safety of students, teachers, and staff must always come first.

I am proud of faculty members who are creating dynamic remote learning environments and are developing a new portfolio of exciting and engaging interactive experiences for the benefit of everyone involved.

POTUS44 delivers two graduation speeches. Graduating is a big achievement no matter what, but with all that the Class of 2020 has dealt with to get across the finish line, I think they’ve earned a little celebration. I hope you’ll all join me in honoring them at 2PM ET and 8PM ET.
