Summer is ending. But his fun and the heat is not dimming. President @reaTrump says he's taking a break from a so called working golf vacation by returning home in an attempt to dim the tensions, which some say he's helped to create. This is the first time since his inauguration. Trump is at his private golf club in Bedminster, NJ, on a 17-day "Working Vacation" while the White House West Wing is being renovated. These fixes were previously approved by President Omaba.

Meteor Shower

Meteor shower competes with the Moon during this August sky light and special effects show. This weekend is the right time to drag a chair, or blanket out and do a little stargazing.

The Perseid meteor shower, which begins Friday night and stretches into Saturday night, will have a higher-than-usual rate of about 150 meteors per hour. Unfortunately, some of the duller meteors will be canceled out by the brightness of the moon, which will be about three-quarters full. The shower happens annually when the Earth passes through remnants from the Comet Swift-Tuttle.

You know you're getting old when your grandson goes to his first day of Kindergarten. This preschool educational approach is traditionally based on playing, singing, practical activities such as drawing, and social interaction as part of the transition from home to school.

Parker and I enjoyed playing digital hide and seek over the summer, and when I sent him a text message, he quickly recorded a response saying... I can't read yet, GB. He calls me that, which is short for Grandpa BoB.
