Legendary crooner Tony Bennett, who had a remarkable musical career that spanned over seven decades, has died at 96.

Bennett, the enduring New York City entertainer who famously left his heart in San Francisco and melted hearts all over the world during his more than seven decades on the music scene, died just two weeks short of his birthday.

Do you recall when you heard a guitar played by a gifted musician’s fingers do the strumming or picking that leaves one breathless?

I definitely can, and the following musicians' names vary from Segovia on Spanish to Hendrix on Electric to Chen on Acoustic GuZhen. I have enjoyed listening to them in person and also on their recordings.

Edward A Caban sworn in as first-ever Latino NYPD commissioner. Bronx born 55-year-old Caban is leader of the largest in USA.

Caban was appointed in 2023 by Mayor Eric Adams. Caban previously served as First Deputy Police Commissioner under Keechant Sewell.

The police department he will lead is more diverse than the largely white and male police force he joined 32 years ago.
