Tony Bennett enjoyed his first hit single, "Because of You," in 1951, and in 1962, he released his signature song, "I Left My Heart in San Francisco." Bennett's popularity waned as younger fans turned to rock music, but he rebounded by the 1990s through increased exposure and an acclaimed MTV Unplugged appearance.
