It is our America and we’re not going anywhere. The demographics include all Americans who identify as Hispanic or Latino ancestry.

As a journalist and educator, this year, I’m going to use Hispanic Heritage Month for special purposes, to educate our 60 thousand monthly visitors, according to Google Analytics on our rich heritage that we are in danger of letting slip through our fingers and hard-working hands.

You can say you’re a DREAMer, but you’re not the only one. You are young people who despite many obstacles, political as well as financial, you have persevered to add to the fabric of our American society, our #USA companies, and our Local communities.

Many of you folks now look to embrace a better life through education and hard work to lift yourselves up by the bootstraps and create a path towards citizenship.

The USA has created the world’s largest immigration detention system, and through a series of stopgap measures, shortsighted policies and intense lobbying by private companies have spawned and nurtured a multibillion-dollar industry based on the imprisonment of men, women, and children seeking to live in America.

Detention Without Representation

Who is really well represented in immigration court? The odds of obtaining representation for newly arrived immigrants appearing in federal court has varied over the years. However, their rights appear to be slipping in recent years.

Also, immigrants in detention centers are often hundreds of miles away from legal assistance. Only a tiny percentage of detained immigrants have lawyers, leaving them to stay in the #USA and fend for themselves.

The US government now says there were 3,000 separated minors placed federal in custody, including at least 100 under the age of five.

POTUS posse revised the count of kids detained under its border policy. Trump administration claims they will find a way so the children can stay with parents per judge's order

One of these days The Grand Old Party will wake up to realize that Trump's Modus Operandi is to cause chaos. It is the word most tossed around each and every week to capture the circus atmosphere circling around Donald Trump's DC Drama Circus.

They say its hard to teach an old dog new tricks, and old habits die hard and since that is what he knows, particularly in the contexts of business and criminal investigations.

Why does the GOP continually insist on counterproductive practices of deliberately preventing a planned political process? Have Republicans lost their way and are they one step closer to tearing up the USA? Why would they be allowed to succeed?

Republicans have looked the other way on Trump’s scandals and misdeeds, ignoring their majority oversight responsibilities and undermining the entire idea of checks and balances. Our forefathers established our nation under God to embrace a mindset that all men and women are created equal and that no one is above the law.
