EYES HAVE IT

We grow up being told never ever judge a book by its cover. But since some are banning and others burning books, eyes have it.

You may not realize it, but the way we move our eyes can say a lot. Some individuals often exhibit a certain level of observational prowess. They are constantly scanning their surroundings, soaking up every detail.

Observant eye movements indicate an active mind, always processing and analyzing information. It’s a clear signal of an individual’s capacity to understand complex situations and think on their feet.

AMERICAN EMPATHY

POTUS traveled to Hawaii bringing needed assistance and supporting the local island residents of Lahaina in Maui.

Biden visited Maui after devastating wildfires. https://cimages.me/content/LAHAINA-PARADISE-LOST - The President was met with grief over relief efforts. POTUS arrived with federal support and offered sincere empathy, as the consoler in chief. which was more than the paper towels the former guy threw at the devastated Puerto Rican natives.

BUG VIBES

Has anyone else noticed the overwhelming and increasing invasion of pests and bugs? Just open your eyes and look around.

I enjoy butterflies in our victory garden, but after going for a walk and upon returning, I noticed a lantern bug had hitched a free ride without me knowing it. Oh, how bugs bug! They ruin the atmosphere with flickering wings and beady little eyes. They move in and make themselves right at home.

My wife and I can't wait to see Olivia and Parker, the youngest grandkids we have dearly missed during the troublesome pandemic.

I am a proud grandpa with two healthy arms to hug each one, and I know that embracing them is not enough.

Why doesn't everyone send a note out of the blue to anyone who's done something nice for you and made a difference in your life?

I am fortunate to have reconnected with two former greats at the beginning of my long and distinguished communications career. They were Dr. Charles Sweeting, WPU Professor, where I received my advanced degree, and Doctor Ken Tiven Managing Editor WPLG, where I landed my first paying job on TV and earned my street-wise Ph.D. from the School of Hard Knocks (aka) The University of Life.

Sophia, my teenage grandchild, and my oldest daughter’s youngest daughter moved out of her parents' cocoon into a college dorm.

The job as I see it is to excel, receive a well-rounded education, and have some fun, while you’re at it. I know she can do it.

And as most folks know, the high school diploma is earned after a course of study lasting four years, from grade 9 to grade 12. The diploma is awarded and in many cases, it is seen as the first day of the rest of your life. Parker and Olivia are next!!!

A summer of joy is what We The People really need. Many of us feel discouraged and overwhelmed by the bitter divisions around us.

After guns, then abortion, school prayer, and a near-death of the administrative state, it’s time to give yourself a treat and consider a relationship with the Universe as it is always in motion bringing great forces together.

Happy Fathers Day Weekend

Eyewitnesses who saw the kids take their father out to enjoy a delicious Father's Day meal, they say it happened this way.

Dad was very old and, a little weak. While eating, food occasionally fell on his shirt and pants. The other guests watched the old man with their faces contorted in disgust, but the children remained calm.

After they finished eating, they quietly helped DAD and took him to the bathroom. They cleaned food scraps from his crumpled face and attempted to wash stains on his clothes. They combed his gray hair and finally put on his glasses.

This weekend my wife and I find ourselves without commitments on our personal schedules, So, we talk, laugh, garden, read, or write.

Who has the audacity to say they would leave a group to go in pursuit of the lost person?. Who works to bring the lost home. And then, when that one returns, they would invite others to join them?
