A KISS

Kissing was like cooking, everyone could do it, but only some made it delicious. If you practice you could become a big pastry chef.

Today, will the long sweet kiss be endangered and become a thing of the past with #Covid? Social distancing made the cheek kiss a much rarer greeting, and polling suggests it may stay that way. Some say good riddance, but others miss the warmth of a good kiss.

The Carters are celebrating their 75 years of marriage today. They are the longest in presidential history. Jimmy, 96, and Rosalynn, 93, mark this special occasion in the town where they met nearly one hundred years ago.

May God continue to bless this amazing couple of love birds in paradise after a young midshipman needed a date one evening while he was home from the U.S. Naval Academy, in Annapolis so his younger sister paired him with a family friend who already had a crush on him from way back.

As we approach the anniversary of her death, it is most important to recall Celia's life of music and her patriotic integrity.

Úrsula Hilaria Celia de la Caridad Cruz Alfonso, known as Celia Cruz, was a Cuban-American singer and one of the most popular Latin artists of the 20th century. Cruz rose to fame in Cuba during the 1950s as a singer of guarachas, earning the nickname "La Guarachera de Cuba"

Happy Fathers Day Weekend. Whether you're a father, or by marriage, or a parent who adopted. I love my kids and all my grandchildren.

However, I am a divorced dad living at a distance who at a ripe old age realizes a limited connection to my family. My adult kids are mostly married with children who know how to reach me. I always reached out to them and miss my DaD and grandfathers.

Why do I consider myself to be the proudest grandpa on earth? My baby girl Sabrina Soto's baby Olivia is a preschool graduate.

This is not just a fancy-schmancy diploma, this is is my baby girl's baby girl graduating from PK aka pre-school, and moving on to the big times, maybe even a Ph.D.

I'm going to continue celebrating with family and friends throughout the weekend and may even shed a few tears of joy.

The Proud Cardinal

Mi Padre was a baseball fanatic. He named two of his sons after baseball greats and knew a lot about America's favorite past-time.

The St Louis Cardinals were one of his favorite steams. The club was started by the American Association in 1882 as the St. Louis Brown Stockings, who got their name from an earlier National League team. They had another name besides The Cardinals, also the St. Louis Perfectos.

Thank you, Gracias, Xiexie
