Seasons Greetings from #CityImages. This is the first full week of the most wonderful three months and our favorite time of the year.

And so it begins... The best trimester of the year. Regardless of whether you're using the ancient Aztec Calendar or not.

We enjoy these three months because October's still Hispanic History Month, UB’s birthday, and then followed by Halloween. November is Thanksgiving, a time to enjoy family and friends. December is Christmas, a time when everyone feels special.

My Godson Matty Pai turns five this day and he was not only born in Einstein Hospital on 9/15 but he's just as smart as Doctor Albert.

Do you know a young scientist? City Images does and we want to showcase this cool and innovative child that should be recognized for his outstanding achievements. His last name is Pai and there is nothing square about this little guy.

It felt like I was watching a silent movie. I could clearly see the top of the building starting to collapse. But I do not remember the sound at all.

I watched the north tower disappear with my own eyes from a few blocks away, at Chelsea Piers where the police stopped TV Tokyo's crew and others.

A Sincere Human

I was born in Habana to a family that fled Cuba with a taste of freedom, and the hope of building our own American Dream.

Being raised on the east coast, including South Florida and the New York metropolitan area, I grew up being told stories of the oppressive, Fidel Castro-led, Communist regime in Cuba, from which we and many others escaped. This experience forged the importance of liberty and profound pride for the United States of America, but it also made me aware of the fragility of freedom.

I also thank Our Lord for a beautiful family, a wonderful career as my world seems full of growing magical options.

Every one of us holds the power to heal. To have a real impact on the health of the people around you. We all do it daily.

This is the real reason why modern medicine is ripe for a change in perspective. Because each of us is a human being in search of kindness and understanding. Our body, mind, and spirits are one and the same.

The world's oldest news organization offers these close-up photos of this pandemic-era Olympic Games, you can imagine the world's most competitive athletes saying to their rivals: “Are you OK?”
