Gobble Of Power

The man who has been attacking two-term President Obama vociferously and as long as anyone can recall is now expected to visit The White House.

How will The President welcome his successor? He called him unfit to serve as commander in chief. The Donald led the toxic birther charge challenging the legitimacy of Obama's presidency.

He is there to speak with US President Barack Obama about the transition plans. The President has instructed his staff to work toward a smooth transition, just as President George W. Bush and his team did for them eight years ago.

MEDIA CAMP PAIN

One of my dear family members asked for my comments, Following this divisive election and after watching the media coverage, I will share the following...

It must be difficult to be a parent of young and impressionable kids during these difficult times. Like me, most of us are parents to adults, but some have been blessed with young grandkids.

We've taught our children ‘Don’t be a bully.’ Don’t be a bigot.’ ‘Study, be prepared.’ Respect your elders, the handicapped, and so many others... etc.

Trump Promises?

The media got The Donald airborne, but the Mexico wall and a Muslim ban sustained him. As long as people like the sound of these promises, Trump may repeat them.

Will he follow through? Trump’s lack of details and firm stances may be advantageous.
Now that The Donald has won the election, we will finally find out if he keeps his words.

Build a Wall and force Mexico to pay for it.

Rejection Day

With E-Day less than 24 hours away, Hillary and The Donald are still stomping across the nation trying to make their case to registered voters.

Hillary's message is about healing and will be spreading it in North Carolina, Michigan, and Pennsylvania. President Obama, first lady Michelle, President Bill Clinton, and their daughter Chelsea Clinton will all be attending a final Monday event, in Philadelphia.

Mike and Don will be finger pointing while sprinting in places like Florida, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, New Hampshire and Michigan.

Nat Hiken followed up the hugely successful Phil Silvers Show ( https://youtu.be/kuUgrHzM4p8?list=PLnvf2A0109q4JxlxfizEU4lNMzjlJmwNO ) with an NBC program featuring the antics of two NYPD cops as they cruised the streets of the 53rd precinct.

It would up as one of the most successful sitcoms on TV, which managed to spin-off many other programs. The show was Car 54, with a stellar cast and crew that turned out to be more popular than imagined.

This All-American sitcom first broadcast from 1961 to 1963, was all about NYPD officers based in The Bronx.

HAIL MARY PASS

Submitted by ub on

With only three days away, it's a Hail Mary pass for the GOP nominee as he begins to panic this close to rejection day. As many football fans know, a Hail Mary is a very long forward pass made in desperation with only a small chance of success. In the Hail Mary pass all receivers run straight toward the end zone and the quarterback will make a long pass that is often "up for grabs."

200+ Years of Latino Media in the US

In Spring of 2006, millions of people marched in more than 100 demonstrations for humane immigration reform in metropolitan centers such as Los Angeles, Washington, D.C. and New York City, and in heartland cities such as Des Moines, Iowa; Garden City, Kansas; and Omaha, Nebraska. In addition to huge turnouts, a notable aspect of the non-violent protests was that no single leader or organization was identified as leading them. No César Chávez, Martin Luther King Jr., or Mahatma Gandhi exhorted people to action or led marches that seemed to spring up spontaneously from late March into May 2006.

Nightmare On Pain Street

There are only a few more days folks. This has been the most toxic US Camp Pain in modern history, where one unqualified candidate has managed to insult hundreds of individuals, groups, and organizations, including his own political party. What if we were to wake up on November 9th to a risky, out of control president, or another recount?
