The Boston Marathon terrorist attacks are the first of it's kind to be captured in a social media world. Images, videos and digital pictures taken by professional as well as amateur photographers are now available in abundance, but still no arrests have been made.

A few days after these bombings, investigators are yet to unravel how a couple of explosions were able to kill three and injure 170.

Parents and professionals can reassure children with facts about how people are protected by helpers, firefighters and police in the community, or the president who meets with world leaders and individual safety measures that can be taken.
