Just like with everything else, POTUS likes to brag about how much he has done for The Big Apple, but if you pay close attention, his actions tell a spookier story and speak much louder than words. Apparently, because Trump Tower is one of the least-desirable luxury buildings in NYC, he’s leaving home bye-bye.

Trump’s new permanent residence in Florida, where he won’t have to pay a state income tax or inheritance tax. It raises questions about possibly evading his New York taxes, which no-one can answer unless America sees his tax returns. #TrumpTaxes

Real Horror Story

This one is a real-life horror that is more terrifying than anything Hollywood could produce. We are not just Republicans, Independents, or Democrats but we are all Americans. We should never allow anyone to burry the US alive with toxic pollution, increased flooding caused by climate change and a trillion-dollar debt. Meanwhile, we see and hear POTUS disinformation and signal his base using childish, schoolyard taunts and the fickled finger of fate?

Making Nationals Great Again

Baseball has been very good for the Washington Nationals, as they are bestowed with Major League Royalty after 95 years and 15 presidents. Their fans booed POTUS, loved the real baby shark and supported their team until the final fight.

Never in @MLB history has a team ever trailed in 4 elimination games during a single #Postseason and come back to win them all.

American democracy depends on fair maps. Next Tuesday, voters in Virginia, Mississippi, Kentucky, and other states will have their final opportunity to elect the state legislators and governors who can draw them. Please cast your ballots.

The Voting Rights Act of 1965 prohibits voter discrimination based on race, color, or membership in a language minority group.

The National Voter Registration Act (NVRA) of 1993 created new ways to register to vote. It also called for states to keep more accurate voter registration

All journeys have highs and lows.

There are times when I can’t miss, that I am literally and figuratively invincible.

There are days I wonder if I will be any good, or if I have something to offer, am I fooling myself?

However, I am a positive person and that means that to get back on track. I re-rack.

I hope this song inspires you today not give up on anyone including yourself.

We’re vulnerable, unsure, but hopeful, and optimistic. It’s a package deal.

This introduction from Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman, the National Security Council’s top Ukraine expert represents every one of us whose family also emigrated to this great nation.

My family fled XYZ when I was three and a half years old.
Upon arriving in New York City in 1979, my father worked multiple jobs
to support us, all the while learning English at night. He stressed to us the
importance of fully integrating into our adopted country.

Fake Boos?

This is not fake news, nor is it fake boos. The Baseball championship game of the World Series was going well until an announcement was made over the intercom that POTUS was there, Although this is sad that Americans are reacting this way in public, it speaks volumes about the state of our political discourse.

Just before the fourth inning started, the video screens carried a salute to our military service members that drew loud cheers throughout the stadium. When the video cut and they announced the Trumps were there, a torrent of boos and heckling.

Never Give Up

Although the grey days of winter are upon us once again in NYC and it will soon be fiercely cold and damp with precipitation. I don't let the cold days get me down, instead, I try to get inspired.

Old man winter is arriving this weekend's time change then the shortest day of the year. First of all, I don’t like cold weather. This a huge problem for me. As a native of Habana, we don’t get snow.
