To celebrate our sixth anniversary, Yirong and I enjoyed a boat ride around the greatest island city in the whole wide world.

At the island of Manhattan, relaxing while we sailed under major bridges, unforgettable New York sights, and sounds.

We traveled from City Island, A Slice of NYC Paradise to the one and only Island City, called The Big Apple.

This is also the largest city in the United States by population and here's the reason why.

The weather was wonderful and our company could not be more delightful.

What The Heck Is Tech Neck?

We're spending too much time staring at screens. Think about it. our heads are our largest and heaviest organ, which is held up by our relatively thinner necks.

If you're doing anything like I happen to be doing now, we spend a lot of time looking downwards towards our computer, phone, or tablet. While obviously not being easy on the eyes, science shows that "Tech Neck" is a real risk. The symptoms of tech neck begin with a minor stiffness or pain in our neck, tension in our shoulders, and a general aches in our upper bodies.

Family And Friends Call Me UB

Please call me UB, if you want to be good friends. It is said that there are multiple levels of friendship. No, I am not talking about those on social networks like Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter, nor does this include so-called frenemies. I am referring to the people you see and with whom you meet on a regular basis.

Thousands of years ago, Aristotle described the types of friendships. The ancient Greek philosopher and scientist have had more followers than any so-called influencer today. Since then, many others have tried to describe the meaning of friendship.

Is the dog a human's best friend? Well, if the animal's popularity is anything to go by, perhaps that's true. The affection for dogs f is and has been the real deal for some time. How we used to think about dogs can be judged by looking at how they have been portrayed in language over the centuries.

The first linguistic oddity to do with dogs concerns the origin of the word Dog. The name was preceded by the perfectly good Anglo-Saxon word hound, which was also used in other European languages.

All Americans must realize that POTUS used his trip, the health care workers and first responders he met with as propaganda tools.

The POTUS Propaganda Tour left Washington DC for Ohio and then traveled to Texas while American taxpayers pay for it and they have yet to see #TrumpTaxes. Republicans are using this latest trip to create their political propaganda camp pain.

Biting The Bullet

Submitted by ub on

First, allow me to say that as a veteran journalist and news manager, I’ve traveled throughout Asia, where video games in cities like Tokyo and Shanghai are extremely popular, but guns are not. Politicians including @POTUS have blamed violence on video games for years. This is yet another lie. In fact, data on bananas causing suicides have about the same correlation.

Also, it’s amusing to see the methods each publication takes instead of editorial boards biting the bullet and reacting like grownups.
