The horrible weekend from hell. A white racist gunman who had posted an anti-immigrant screed began shooting on Saturday inside a Walmart killing 20 people and injuring 26 more. A few hours later, other murders. Nine dead in Ohio, with multiple injuries.

We all have a Mother and Father, four Grandparents, eight Great Grandparents, and Sixteen Great-great-grandparents.

In a total of 11 generations, 4094 Ancestors, all this in approximately 300 years before you or I were born.
Stop for a moment and think Where did they come from?

NOT How many fights have they fought?
How hungry have they been?
How many wars have you lived?

50 years following The Woodstock Festival, has Trump's GOP mangled young America's chant of Love, Peace, and Happiness? The grandson of President George HW Bush, who was my former boss wrote that white extremists are a "real and present threat."

The damage is done and POTUS set the tone for Republicans by deriding and, using White House resources to undermine common sense issues including scientific data and avoiding even uttering the phrase.

By the time of elections next year, there are multiple issues high on a list of urgent concerns that the Republicans must deal with. Why is it that so far this year, more than 522 people have died during mass shootings and over 2,040 have been injured? WHY?

Moscow Mitch Or Russia Mitch?

US Senator Mitch McConnell used to act like a Republican #Russia hawk for as far as anyone can recall, so what explains blocking election security and gun background check legislation? #RussianMitch or #MoscowMitch are appropriate. Mitch McConnell was the one who stopped in August 2016 any and all reference to the Russians attacking our #American election when @POTUS Barack Obama wanted to warn the entire nation of these clear and present dangers. What explains the following?

- The Deripaska sanctions

- The Russia-tied political contributions

So let me get this straight. Disaster relief for California or Puerto Rico, not much available and gave paper towels. For Russia, AOK.

1995 and 2004 had 5 August hurricanes each! 2005 had two August hurricanes, of course including Katrina, another reminder it’s not just about how busy but how bad. Then 2005 had 10, but the one which did the most political harm was Maria in Puerto Rico.

Has POTUS finally figured out how to reverse global warming? Is this the reason why he is returning to the cold war?

Is this a mistake? Rewarding to Russia for supporting Trump by defending their attack, giving Putin a free pass on Syria, strengthening North Korea, making NATO weaker, and diminishing US leadership in the free world. Trump is gaslighting America and telling us out loud he will welcome more interference from Russia in 2020, and #MoscowMitch will help enable it.

To respect transparency, I should point out that I am neither a Republican nor a Democrat. This makes me an independent who can not vote during primaries. In fact, I once worked for President George HW Bush as a GM 15/10 USIA TV Division Director.

Get it together, Democrats. Following two debates, you were attacking each other while POTUS and the GOP watched in delight.

Stacking The Deck

Is POTUS trying to recreate the bench in his own image of white, male and conservatives? There appears to be a whole lot more to the story of Trump's unqualified judicial nominees.

Trump judicial nominees have caught the public spotlight for good reason, Besides their inexperience is obscuring an even more troubling story about what is at stake and that is there are many more vacancies on the bench.
