Special Halloween
ub Sat, 10/31/2020 - 20:44

There's a moon out tonight and a nearly global blue moon for the first time since 1944. A blue moon will fall on Halloween this year, making the spookiest night of the year just a little bit eerier.

The second full moon of the month, which is what's commonly referred to as a Blue Moon. Since the orbit of the moon around the Earth is about 27 days, as long as the timing is good, we can get two full moons in a month.

ub Sat, 10/10/2020 - 06:31

The #Republicans have had a spectacular four-year failure and fall from grace originating from losing a political land, sea, and aerial dogfight, that is accompanied by POTUS arms flailing, hand gestures, and sound effects after crashing, burning an entire Grand Old Party in the #USA landscape.

In Journalism school, one famous professor always said, “You tell big stories with small pictures.” For a modest glimpse into how President Donald J. Trump, created the impression that he is a smart businessman we find clear evidence 50 miles from Manhattan.

Evil Ways and Means
ub Mon, 08/31/2020 - 09:50

A stereotypical image of an evil man and a purposely distinctive visage of villains, initially from the stage plays of the 1880s.

This has been the heaviest week for the bad news I can recall and since I closely follow journalism developments, I like others agree that the news dam is breaking and some Americans fear that as Election Day grows near, that the next few months may become progressively crazier, including more blood, sweat, and tears.

No Rifle Association?
ub Thu, 08/06/2020 - 13:05

The NRA will go away if the New York State Attorney General has anything to say. Her lawsuit sets up a legal confrontation that could take years to play out and will leave the 148-year-old #NRA long the nation’s most influential gun-rights lobby but recently hobbled by financial woes and infighting in question.

The chief executive of the NRA allegedly engaged in a decades-long pattern of fraud by draining $64 million from the nonprofit in just three years, according to a lawsuit filed by NY AG Letitia James. She is calling for the NRA's dissolution.

Say it With Oh Oh!

Global companies, schools, and other organizations had pretty much the same story to tell: Everything was going great until the beginning of the new decade when the world began locking down to stem the COVID-19 outbreak and demands fell off a cliff.

However, we must not return to greed, inequities, depletions, disconnection, confusion, hoarding rage, and hate to name a few.
