For Pete's sake get the hell out of there. The phrase originated as a substitute for “for Christ's (or God's sake,” and other expressions.

This is what several Congressional Toppers said insisting he’s not qualified. This is an expression of frustration, exasperation or annoyance. It was popularly adopted while using a shortened form of the disciple St. Peter's name instead was considered less offensive.

The social media tech bros are abusing power to push hate and division. These platforms are tools for spreading fascist ideologies. We The People should abandon them by suppressing and dismantling these systems of oppression. Enabling this content perpetuates the spread of these ideologies that harm us all. It’s time to take a stand. Users who oppose fascist policies should stop supporting these businesses and delete these apps immediately.

“The dons, the bashaws, the grandees, the patricians,
the sachems, the nabobs; call them by what names you please,
sigh and groan and fret, and sometimes stamp and foam and curse,
but all in vain. The decree has gone forth, and it cannot be recalled,
that a more equal liberty than has prevailed
in other parts of the earth
must be established in America.”

Regardless of the health insurance company our employer chooses or the one we select for ourselves, they are for profit organizations.

According to published reports, an overwhelming number of adults say that denials for health care coverage by insurance companies, or the profits made by health insurance companies, also bear at least “a moderate amount” of responsibility for public anger.
