Today is International Women's Day. Let the world celebrate the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women.

Why aren't women treated equally? It is a focal point in the women's rights movement, bringing attention to issues such as gender equality, reproductive rights, and violence and abuse against women.

This day also marks a call to action for accelerating women's equality. This celebration has occurred for over a century, with the first IWD gathering in 1911 supported by over a million people.
