Tuesday’s elections weren’t random blips, they were a pulse check. Democratic messaging is still landing. Voters are telling us what matters: rights, schools, democracy. This is how Democratic momentum starts.

Polls largely underestimated Zohran Mamdani’s support in the Democratic primary for the New York City mayor, illustrating once again just how difficult it can be to accurately poll primary elections. While most polls did not show Mamdani leading in the first round of balloting, they did appear to show him gaining support in the final weeks of the campaign. He ultimately won with more than 56 percent of the vote after ranked-choice tabulation.

In the 50's, it cost 20 cents. In 1988, 83 cents for a gallon of gasoline.

You'd never know it based on today's prices, which top off around $3.33 a gallon

Think back to when Lady Liberty was gifted to the USA. Public service is primordial to our future if we are to enjoy a thriving society. Without helping our fellow humans, we will have lived in vain.
