Welcome - Our news, public affairs, and information blog reports on cities, their citizens, and residents. There are at least 10,000 Cities on Planet Earth. Our job at #ImaginusMedia, #DoseOfNews, and #CityImages remains the same: to help us make sense of the big issues shaping our world. We’ll also be introducing more audio features and smart, fast updates on the day’s most important news. We’re rolling out a more streamlined reading experience with more analysis of the biggest stories shaping our world. These improvements are shaped by the communication we’ve had with many of you over the past few months. Your feedback has guided so much of our thinking. Please keep it coming. We are best when in conversation with you, the people we serve.

Christian is the celebration of Jesus' birth with ancient pagan winter solstice festivals, on December 25th, by the 4th-century church to absorb Roman Saturnalia and Yule traditions, incorporating elements like feasting, evergreens, and gift-giving, evolving into the modern holiday through figures like St. Nicholas and German tree customs, becoming a widely celebrated cultural event by the 19th century.

With soap, filthy mouth... News and other four-letter words.
Who does not respect women journalists? Calling ABC’s Rachael Scott “obnoxious and terrible”. December 6, called Caitlin Collins, “stupid and nasty”. On November 27, he asked Nancy Cortez of CBS,” Are you stupid?” On November 26, he called the NYT Katie Rogers “ugly”. On November 18 he called ABC’s Katie Bruce,” terrible and insubordinate”. And then there was the now infamous November 14 “quiet piggy.”

In 1956, sixteen-year-old John Lennon formed a British Rock group with several friends from Quarry Bank HS in Liverpool,
England. On this anniversary of John's murder, we remember that the music produced with Paul, George, and Ringo was unorthodox. I believe this gave him some magic sauce put into so many of their original compositions. They always silence the ones who call for peace. Meanwhile, the ones receiving made-up peace awards bring US closer to danger with their double-tap aggression. At home and abroad it continues… And so it goes.
