It starts with a decision: to treat people not as targets, but as partners; not as abstractions, but as neighbors. Double-check your sources. Once credibility is lost, it's gone forever. Finally, connection is civic infrastructure with love of humanity at its core.
Most heroes don’t change history directly. They change the people who do.
POTUS Kennedy didn’t become stronger because President Eisenhower solved a problem. He became stronger because someone he respected refused to reduce him to his worst day. That’s heroism without a spotlight. No medals. No monuments.
Just a human hand on a shoulder saying: Stand back up.
The message - It is okay to feel frustration but never ever hopelessness.

Who does not respect women journalists? Calling ABC’s Rachael Scott “obnoxious and terrible”. December 6, called Caitlin Collins, “stupid and nasty”. On November 27, he asked Nancy Cortez of CBS,” Are you stupid?” On November 26, he called the NYT Katie Rogers “ugly”. On November 18 he called ABC’s Katie Bruce,” terrible and insubordinate”. And then there was the now infamous November 14 “quiet piggy.”
