The only generalization that is true is the thousands of predictions of the end of times, they were all wrong. Take Y2K it was a non event. How about the Mayan calendar ending the world in 2012, we are still here. Now comes Q. Where did Q come from and why is Q anonymous.Over the last year as a retired person I have spent all too much time watching television. To the extent of watching shows I never would have watched before.

There's a moon out tonight and a nearly global blue moon for the first time since 1944. A blue moon will fall on Halloween this year, making the spookiest night of the year just a little bit eerier.

The second full moon of the month, which is what's commonly referred to as a Blue Moon. Since the orbit of the moon around the Earth is about 27 days, as long as the timing is good, we can get two full moons in a month.

A man in Florida was mauled by a black leopard after paying to have his close encounter with it on National Cat Day is a celebration to raise public awareness of showing kindness to cats for adoption.

The National Cat Day website states that the holiday was first celebrated in 2005 "to help galvanize the public to recognize the number of cats that need to be rescued each year and also to encourage cat lovers to celebrate the cat(s) in their life for the unconditional love and companionship they bestow upon us."

This has been the heaviest week for the bad news I can recall and since I closely follow journalism developments, I like others agree that the news dam is breaking and some Americans fear that as Election Day grows near, that the next few months may become progressively crazier, including more blood, sweat, and tears.
