President Joe  Biden launches a long-anticipated Indo-Pacific trade pact. A deal to help the U.S. work more closely with Asian nations. 

So far POTUS and The Democrats have managed to pass an infrastructure program that is rebuilding the United States of America. President Biden has also brought NATO and, Europe closer together as well as the entire Western alliance stretching from Canada up to Finland and all the way to Japan.

The economic bloc with a dozen Asia-Pacific nations counters China and reasserts American influence in the region. This alliance comes five years after the former guy’s withdrawal from the Trans-Pacific Partnership. It impacts economies on important issues including supply chains, digital trade, clean energy, and anti-corruption efforts.

The remarks seem to be a departure from the US's longstanding policy of "strategic ambiguity" in its response to a potential Chinese invasion. Washington must already provide Taiwan with the means to defend itself, according to the Taiwan Relations Act.
