Judge Gorsuch is one step closer to The US Supreme Court. high court. Senators took one step closer to end the judicial filibuster.

GOP leaders vow that Mr. Gorsuch will be confirmed "one way or another," therefore we're witnessing a process in the US Senate that is not noble. It is politics at its most raw, the kind that equally confounds and repulses those with weak stomachs or little experience with governance.

NYC HAWK WATCH

The great majority of hawks are more useful to human beings than they are harmful to us.

However, there is still widespread prejudice against hawks. Occasionally they destroy poultry and smaller birds, but they eat small mammals, reptiles, and insects.

Hawks have many foraging techniques, but the most typical in their pursuit of prey is raking, or swiftly following the animal’s efforts to escape.

Once the hawk has secured the prey with its powerful talons, the bird dismembers it with its sharply pointed, strong beak.

BS Artists

Have you noticed that our planet is overflowing with BS artists? I've been wondering how every aspect of our lives seems contaminated by BS and realized the problem lies within us.

Why are some many folks easily led to empty voids, or too lazy to engage critical thinking when it's most needed? We're up to our collective waists in manure, and it is our own fault. We need to stop attracting more BS with each passing day.

CITY IMAGES is celebrating five years of successful publishing. I' like to say thanks to my daughter Sabrina for suggesting the name and to my friend and colleague CD Jaco for recommending it in the first place. According to Google analytics, this daily blog has grown from dozens of readers to thousands of regular visitors.

Please allow me to outline my distinguished career. I started working for free as a CEO, a communicator encouraging others while serving as a student intern for The Washington Post.
