We Need Young Leaders

Submitted by Admin on

During the last few months, I've been pondering the following thoughts. How old is too old to serve as President, Prime Minister and, or Royalty?

It is a somewhat curious and unexplained paradox that during earlier times, when life expectancy was much lower than it is nowadays, politicians were generally much older, whereas today, when life expectancy is much greater, it's my belief, that leaders worldwide ought to be younger. In fact, leaders should consider retiring at age 70 in order to make room for younger blood. Earth is in Urgent Care.

PERSONALITY

Submitted by Admin on

According to research, the level of success depends on our personality, much more than IQ.

Our intelligence quotient, aka (IQ), grades, and scores on achievement tests are widely used as measures of cognition, but the correlations among them are far from perfect. This paper uses a variety of datasets to show that personality and IQ predict grades and scores on achievement tests. Personality is relatively more important in predicting grades than scores on achievement tests. IQ is relatively more important in predicting scores on achievement tests. Personality is generally more predictive than IQ on a variety of important life outcomes. Both grades and achievement tests are substantially better predictors of important life outcomes than IQ. The reason is that both capture personality traits that have independent predictive power beyond that of IQ.

Hillary NYC Mayor?

Politics and payback often go hand in hand. The outcome could be very interesting because New Yorkers know her and have already voted for Hillary, so why not? But is she up for the task?

The 2017 Golden Globes on NBC aka The Hollywood Foreign Press awards are viewed as an Oscar predictor. La La Land is a front-runner for the rest of awards season.

The major motion picture musical won seven awards, including best musical, best actor and best actress. Moonlight won one Golden Globe, but it was a big one: best drama.

Hipster in Chief

From 2009–2016 Barack Hussein Obama, who was born on August 4, 1961, has proven time and time again to be the most popular longest-serving President of the United States as he nears the end of his term.

He has proven to be the hippest president US President ever. The fact that he was elected and then re-elected the first African American President to live in The White House is not only extremely cool, but there's way too much to list beyond that. 3 MILLION OF US

Submitted by Admin on

The US is a multicultural melting pot comprised of people who make up an international salad of world languages. The final figures indicate that over 3 million registered voters cast more ballots for other candidates who were also running for president and not Donald Trump, making him the least popular president-elect in history.

The data is clear and figures are right here. The Donald does not appear to have a mandate, no matter how many times he repeats it and continues to say it. http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/other/trump_favorableunfavorabl…

TV or Not TV?

While every US Intelligence agency report points to Vladimir Putin and his Russian hackers as the culprits of a government-sponsored cyber campaign to help The Donald, he seems to be concerned with Arnold Schwarzenegger's ability to attract eyeballs.

Why is it that as American democracy suffers a grave assault, PEOTUS is overly concerned about Celebrity Apprentice TV ratings? http://entertainment.doseofnews.com/

Narcissist or Egomaniac?

We all start out as narcissistic babies and as we grow up we progress in our personal development we outgrow our narcissism.

Although there are important differences, sometimes it is difficult to distinguish a high-functioning narcissist from an egomaniac. The two are interrelated. Every narcissist has a big ego but not every person with a big ego is a narcissist.

BILL THE WALL TO US?

Submitted by Admin on

Tweeting that the dishonest media does not report any money spent on building the Great Wall (for sake of speed), will be paid back by Mexico later, but not offering any proof or details on how he will accomplish it. Some may wonder who is really being dishonest?

It appears that it is much easier to make statements one day and then different the next day. The Donald has said that he knows more than others and points fingers but it is more difficult to explain in detail the specifics than to make general comments like -Lock Her Up, Repeal and Replace Mexico Will Pay for The Wall and so many others, but never following up with specific facts, or data.
