In Spring of 2006, millions of people marched in more than 100 demonstrations for humane immigration reform in metropolitan centers such as Los Angeles, Washington, D.C. and New York City, and in heartland cities such as Des Moines, Iowa; Garden City, Kansas; and Omaha, Nebraska. In addition to huge turnouts, a notable aspect of the non-violent protests was that no single leader or organization was identified as leading them. No César Chávez, Martin Luther King Jr., or Mahatma Gandhi exhorted people to action or led marches that seemed to spring up spontaneously from late March into May 2006.

Nightmare On Pain Street

There are only a few more days folks. This has been the most toxic US Camp Pain in modern history, where one unqualified candidate has managed to insult hundreds of individuals, groups, and organizations, including his own political party. What if we were to wake up on November 9th to a risky, out of control president, or another recount?

KKK FOR TRUMP

Only a couple of national newspapers has endorsed The Donald. Now he can take pride in the support of Ku Klux Klan, a group he said he had no knowledge of, but published reports tell a different story.

Hello, November. What's up? Is it the ninth day yet? With only a week away from election day, who knows which surprises are still coming our way?

Will the candidates play nice and finally outline their plans to move our nation forward, or will the mudslinging increase more than it already has?

One light at the end of the toxic political tunnel is a new meaning of Thanksgiving in America. Let's make sure the outcome does not cause violence from anyone person or a group.
