Madam President?

Longtime Clinton watchers are amazed over The Clinton’s post–White House escapades, from dubious associations to media blowups which have bruised the campaigns.

First, there was Bill's Camp pain 1992 then your 2008, which were progressively difficult but 2016 has been brutal. While she was out there changing the world, her detractors are trying to knock her down with campaign lies and accusations which presaged what would happen during her administration. She has been relentless and for that, Hillary has made herstory as well as history and must be congratulated. Kudos on all those surprise endorsements from Republicans and Democrats as well as from various well-respected American newspapers' editorial boards.

Hillery Clinton may become the first female leader of the free world. I have no political affiliation I'm not a Democrat and not Republican though some have tried to convert me.

How will The Donald handle his lying statements challenged by an intelligent, experienced woman with a long and established track record?

Two Republicans and three Democrats. All five living US Presidents, who are members of both major US parties are warning Americans not to vote for Trump.

Clean Sweep

GOP-controlled US Congress is drinking a toxic brew of political polarization and gerrymandering that has the legislative body gridlocked and institutionally exists from one crisis to another.

The Republican Party does not deserve to be in charge. They have shut the government down at times and refuse to vote on legislation and presidential appointments.

USA can't afford to drag its feet any longer, we have gone without a properly functioning government for the last 8 years due to this obstruction. All apparently because the republicans were unhappy with a black president.

This is holding our country back. It is almost impossible to pass legislation it's all frozen up.

We need to break the logjam and Flip the Congress.

In the Senate, it would only take a change of 5 seats to Flip the Senate.

In the House, it would only take a change of 30 seats to Flip the House of Representatives.

All You have to do is Vote.

If you have difficulty getting to the poll to Vote use an Absentee Ballot.

PRESIDENTIAL DEBATES

Submitted by ub on

The first Hilary Clinton-Donald Trump debate falls on Monday, September 26.

By an interesting coincidence, it is the 56th anniversary of the first televised debate of a presidential election in American history. On September 26, 1960, a relatively unknown American senator from Massachusetts confronted the vice president of the United States under President Eisenhower, Richard Nixon of California.

SLOW FASTING

Is it a good practice to slowly abstain from food or drink, and eat nothing, refrain from meals, go without nourishment, go hungry, starve oneself? It really depends on who you ask, the length of time, your desired outcome, and the purpose.

Recently, I had gall bladder surgery and was forced to stop eating certain foods and then I had to stop eating altogether for tests and then for the surgery. The outcome was that I lost 30 pounds.

Say goodbye to Summer and welcome Autumn-Fall weather. The trees changing colors, while the leaves keep falling.

So long, or should we say so short It's the last day of summer, and as usual, it went by too quickly. It has been the hottest summer on record, both climatologically and politically.

CIVIL WRONGS

Rookie wrongs lead to civil wrongs. The decission of placing the least experienced police officers into the most dangerous neighborhoods should be reconsidered.

Unfortunately, it is a time-honored practice that has tragic consequences, both for the young cops and for the people they are sworn to protect and for the inexperienced young cops.

Veterans with seniority rights move to the relative safe neighborhoods while their newer counterparts face the brunt of battle. It has happened once again in Oklahoma and then in N. Carolina.
