Some stay here on City Island, others are mailed out to people in other locations. They charge for subscriptions and also for their advertisements. According to staffers, they only publish news about City Island.

Sherman Hemsley was 74 and became famous as Archie's next door neighbor on "All in the Family." The spin-off, "The Jeffersons" was a monster hit.

He was born in Philadelphia and died in his El Paso Texas home. Sherman Hemsley got his break in show business in the early 1970s, making his Broadway debut in a production of the play "Purlie." He also starred in the TV show, "Amen." He was also a professional singer and even released the single in 1989, "Ain't that A Kick in the Head."
