American sweetheart Doris Day has died at the age of 97 in Carmel Valley, CA. Ms. Day was an actress, singer, and animal welfare activist. After she began her career as a big band singer in 1939, her popularity increased with her first hit recording "Sentimental Journey" a song that was written by Les Brown (1912-2001) and the lyrics were written by Bud Green (1897-1981). It coincidentally was released at the end of WWII and became the unofficial homecoming song for WWII veterans.

As we celebrate the marvelous mothers around the world who inspire us, let us honor the intelligence, strength, and compassion of the women you love by paying tribute to these superhuman beings. Shout out to my daughters, Natasha, Sabrina and their mother, who are not only wonderful mothers but super working women.

Whether they go by MOM, Mother, Mommy, Mami or Mama they are members of a Tribe of 24/7 MOMS who have experienced motherhood in all it's scary yet exciting, challenging and rewarding experiences full of ups and downs.

Comedian Bill Maher called @POTUS Brokeahontas on national television following a powerful NY Times article which revealed that the @realdonaldtrump broke a financial record when he lost more money at once than any other American in history.

Mothers Know Best

Mothers know best and we all should know better. Women are smarter than men and have already proved it over and again.

Moms are struggling in the workforce while #USA is the only developed nation that doesn't offer paid leave on a national basis.
When will America catch up to the rest of the east, south north and west?

Salary parity and affordable childcare should not be out of reach because while Dad is being paid more, MoM does most and must receive moral support a great deal of gratitude from society, while also keeping in mind that every day is Mother Day.

Would @cspan consider producing a reality TV Talkshow format featuring former public servants who worked in @WhiteHouse to answer questions from #American taxpayers about @POTUS?

From the keyboard it came, and to the the screen it shall appear. Now its time for all good women and men to come to the aid of our nation.

Positive Energy Prevails

Throughout my lifetime, I have known wiser, memorable and inspirational older individuals. My wonderful parents Margarita, Antonio, my brothers, my children, and the best grandkids any proud grandpa would ever want. Also there are the other members of my family who have taught me very important life lessons.

As I keep living, learning, and reflecting on blessings around me I see the key to longevity is to keep learning and moving forward at a steady pace.

US Constitutional Crisis

The #USA has been slowly approaching a Constitutional crisis and following The US House Judiciary committee holding Attorney General Bill Barr in contempt, the federal government has entered a new phase.

Wannabe dictators become intoxicated by the desire for power and when they start losing, they become increasingly desperate.
President Donald Trump is forcing a showdown with Congress which now ends with the beginning of a Constitutional crisis.

The Art of A Loser

Do you know a person who has lost lots of money and keeps losing, not only with approval ratings in the toilet, but for financial losses in business, government or in politics?

What about a real loser who will not accept defeat with good grace, as specified by we won by cheating or lost the popular vote fair and square? These people should concede and be good losers if not for only one, then for all of US.

How about an individual that put us all at a disadvantage by a chain of unfortunate situations or actions?
