CON GRACE?

There is no grace going on there on Capitol Hill, and too much of a con job. Some ask where is it? Show me. Well, if progress is moving forward, and regress is moving backwards, what is Congress, a national con job?

The GOP lead congress has done very little over the past years. Call your representative and condemn them for their continual refusal to perform their jobs. Demand that constant bickering and personal attacks must stop.

The Right to Remain Silent

This was never meant for members of Congress, who are no longer doing their jobs. More about that later.

It is designed to offer equal justice under the law. As US celebrates the 50th anniversary on June 13, it’s easy to forget the origin and purpose.

Miranda was the culmination of 30 years of Supreme Court cases that were designed to protect criminal suspects from abuse in police interrogations. The earliest of these decisions prohibited violence and torture.

Thanks to the folks at The National Rifle Association, we now have America's hall of shame and the dirty dozen.

While those friendly folks at NRA keep up their fight to stop an assault weapons ban, deranged killers continue to murder innocent individuals.

We must never allow these mass shootings to destroy or define our nation. The following hate crimes and, or terrorist acts must make us stronger and continue our resolve to outlaw all weapons of mass destruction.

People from the U.S. and overseas are in disbelief following shootings, which occurred in Orlando Florida. Public Safety officials are investigating this is a hate crime and a possible connection to Islamic terrorism. 50 are reportedly dead and over 50 others injured. This is the second nightclub shooting in the Orlando area in two days.

Today, we celebrate Loving Day. This is an annual observance held on June 12, the anniversary of the 1967 United States Supreme Court decision Loving v. Virginia which struck down all anti-miscegenation laws remaining in sixteen U.S. states.

The unjust or prejudicial treatment of different categories of people on the grounds of race, age, or sex in wrong.

The other night I received a message from a university professor and colleague, who currently lives in China and it immediately got me interested on this amazing platform.

WeChat is a micro messenger, a mobile text and voice messaging communication service developed by Tencent China,one of the largest internet companies in the world.

Launched in January 2011, its is one of the largest standalone messaging apps by monthly active users.

American sweetheart Christina Grimmie has been killed as a result of a real hate crime in Florida. She was shot by a gunman who had apparently targeted the young singer who rose to fame after appearing on “The Voice”.

He traveled to Orlando from another Florida city specifically to attack her and then fatally shot himself, according to public safety authorities.

NYC celebrated 125 years of The New York Botanical Garden with Bronx Day. Local performers ¡Retumba! got New Yorkers moving performing their fabulous "comparsas" and other Latin music favorites.

The Bronx rolled out its welcome mat for neighbors and residents and offered food for sale or the option of to bring a picnic lunch and enjoy an afternoon of music and family fun. Admission to all Botanical Garden venues was free to all Bronx Day ticket holders from 11A-to–3P.
