When To Call It Quits

“You’ve got to know when to hold ’em,
Know when to fold ’em,
Know when to walk away,
Know when to run.
You never count your money,
When you’re sittin’ at the table,
There’ll be time enough for countin’,
When the dealing's done.”

On this Memorial Day, please take a moment to pause and remember the fallen heroes, and those who served, like my late brother Antonio J Soto III.

Also, please say thank you to all current members of our military, as well as US Veterans. Thank them for their great service. We don't know them all. but we owe them all.

If it were not for Memorial Day, we would not have this great nation. It is still the best country on earth, where people of all races, cultures and religions have frown the melting pot into a rich, mixed and unique salad.

First, they support the idea, then they do not. They will say one thing today and reverse themselves tomorrow. How can a flim-flam flash in the pan can be trusted to keep their word?

Some people flip flop because they fear anyone knowing who they are, what they think, and others just can't help it. Are they friend, or foes? A true friend will always speak the truth, even if it hurts.

Truth and justice in the American way. Lies will continue to tear US apart.

These workers have been without a contract for nearly a year amid attempts by Verizon to cap pensions, cut benefits and outsource work to Mexico, the Philippines, and the Dominican Republic.

Verizon officials claim that striking workers are intimidating replacement technicians. However the union says Verizon has no evidence such incidents occurred, nor that any striking workers were even involved.
