The Arab League has asked the United Nations to send a peacekeeping mission to Syria, and asked Arab nations to sever diplomatic relations with Damascus in an effort to pressure the government to end the violence there.

Meanwhile UNGA, The United Nations General Assembly will meet on Monday to discuss Syria, where the death toll keeps rising as Government forces continue their bloody crackdown against a pro-democracy uprising.

Milosevic goes on trial for war crimes. Former Yugoslav president Slobodan Milosevic goes on trial at The Hague, Netherlands, on charges of genocide and war crimes in Bosnia, Croatia and Kosovo. Milosevic served as his own attorney for much of the prolonged trial, which ended without a verdict when the so-called "Butcher of the Balkans" was found dead at age 64 from an apparent heart attack in his prison cell on March 11, 2006.

NEWARK is the largest city in New Jersey, with a population of 277,140. Newark's property values were among the first ones to peak, hitting their highest point in the first quarter of 2006. Since then home prices have fallen modestly, which has kept prices high.

The $400,000 median home price in this area is the 10th highest in the country. The bleeding out of residents may stop in the coming year as home prices are predicted to drop 4.8% through the end of this year.
