HERSTORY MONTH
Celebrated in several countries throughout the world, Women’s History Month commemorates the contribution women have made to culture and society. In the US, Women's History Month's roots go back to March 8, 1857, when NYC factory workers staged a protest over poor working conditions. Celebrate the accomplishments and positive changes women have made during National Women’s History Month.
Back in 1981 Congress established National Women's History Week to be commemorated the second week of March. In 1987, Congress expanded the week to a full month.
